  • Looking at this school from an academic point of view- it's a good school. Principal Jusino has transformed this school from what it used to be as Eastern District. Teachers are awesome, Guidance counselors are always there to help. I could not have completed high school had I not attended this school. Being in foster care made life really hard but with my guidance counselor Sandra Vasquez and all the other teachers who stood on my case 24/7 I was able to graduate half a semester early- and today a little over a year after graduating I am an EMT!

The only thing I'd say is wrong with this school are the students. Most of the students who go here are students who couldn't get into any other school. It's very ghetto, there are wild crazy fights 2-3 days a week without fail. The students from the 2 other schools on the above floors are even wilder, and always come downstairs to start fights.

All in all great school for the student who is there for their education and not there to socialize. Steer clear of the mine field of negative peers and you'll do just great!
