  • My daughter, Alyssa has been attending this school since 1st grade and I love the way the teachers involve themselves with the students. When they see a potential problem starting to arise with a students behavior or grade they get involve by calling the parents and work with the individual student prior to their graded report cards.
They also have student group meetings for our pre-teens to speak up, share there every day social lives, experiences, and teach them how to stay out of trouble. The school involves our students in plenty school activities throughout the school year and provide afterschool programs to help keep our children off the streets. I enjoy speaking highly of this school to other parents and look forward to my daughters 8th grade graduation at the end of this school year. I would also love to give extra thanks to Ms. Sasha who has earned the title as "Mom #2" in my book. A parents dream come true. She is our eyes and ears... advising our children, making sure they do right and be safe. To no surprise the students love her too. She is definitly on top of her game when it comes to our babies lives. GREAT JOB P.S. 89 !!!....from a very proud parent.
