School Description
Jackson Hole Connections Academy provides a new form of public school that students everywhere in Wyoming can attend from home.
This unique program combines:
· the expertise and accountability of publicly funded education,
· strong parental involvement,
· and the flexibility of online classes.
Tuition-free Public School for Grades K–12
The Jackson Hole Connections Academy full-time program is a partnership with Teton County School District #1 that has been in operation since July 2009. Jackson Hole Connections Academy serves students from anywhere in Wyoming in grades K–12.
There is no tuition for students to attend Jackson Hole Connections Academy. Students are considered to be enrolled in a public school.
Materials Provided by the School
· Wyoming-certified teachers,
· textbooks and other curriculum materials,
· online resources, such as movies and encyclopedias,
· and a loaned computer and subsidy for Internet service.
Connections Academy is accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). Jackson Hole Connections Academy school will also be seeking accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
