  • I am a volunteer with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Lunch Buddy program. On Wed., 3-30-11, I was on the play ground after lunch watching my Lunch Buddy play. I meet a guy who I thought was another volunteer lunch buddy or a teacher. I asked if he also volunteered at the school and was very pleasantly surprise to discover that was/is the Principal of the school, Eric Christenson. It says a lot about Eric being a great Principal when he takes the time to go out on the play ground to watch the kids and to be a possible roll model that is visible and accessible to the kids. I commend him for a job well done. He has a great vision and a very good heart for the kids and the school and for education. Our kids need more guys like him.
