  • I'm a Freshman at Thomas Jefferson Senior High school. My opinion is that their teachers are NOT all the same some can be rude but most of them are very respectful! We have a great staff when i hurt my ankle the nurse and principal stopped what they were doing to make sure i was ok, also so did a boy i did not know. My first few weeks at Thomas Jefferson a lot of upperclassman asked me if I needed directions to my classes. My school is very beautiful and i love the people there a lot. I LOVED TJ! GO JACKETS!

  • I feel T.J. has been given a bad wrap. We as a community need to change this reputation. I feel with a new principal, Athletic Director, and many new faculty T.J. is going through a Renaissance. Look for T.J. in the next couple years. I think you will be impressed.

  • I think the school is too tough on the kids. There does not seem to be much care or consideration towards the students by the teachers. There are exceptions, but only a few. I am not impressed with TJ. The teachers teach but they really do not interact with the student. The teachers are simply boring and teach in a boring way. The kids that I have talked to, which are many and of which were honor roll students say this. These honor roll students are now getting average grades? Whats up with that. The teachers need to loosen up a bit and make learning fun. These teachers need to take a class from the Wilson 78er teachers. These teachers are awesome.

  • tj is a friendly place and i haven't had a problem with any of my fellow students but i disagree with a lot of the code of conduct. Like if you're failing a class you cannot participate in any extra curricular activites for 20 days if your in sports or 30 days if your in the music department i do not understand why sports and music would be differant as to punishment. on top of that, if that is what you want to do when you graduate you would be taking opportunity away from them in 30 days a person can becaome way out of practice. If a person got into a fight both of the people are suspended no exceptions even in self defense. Also there are teachers here who don't know how to teach and just do a few problems on the board and if people ask questions they get angry so i give a c.
