  • I was a student at this school during the 1977-1978 school year and I thank the lord above for this school! I was so sad to hear how different it is today. I had come from a huge school and was an outcast and finally at Capital City I was able to get a wonderful education and have friends at the same time. I would love to connect with anyone that was there during that time period but I haven't been able to find anyone.

  • These teachers did the very best they possibly could with the worst students in the city. Members of the faculty were abused, manipulated, harrassed, ridiculed, and threatened on a regular basis, yet they still found time to make me feel important while teaching the common curriculum for my age and grade.

This school is a last resort for many students and I believe all of the teachers should be honored for their commitment.
