  • Lewis Open Magnet is a school to help further the reading capability's of student's, and not so much mathmatic's or grammer. I being a former student of lewis having graduated four years ago when I was nine have had a few struggle's do to this. I have however been able to read at an alarmingly fast pace of 558 words per minute thanks to lewis. I have been unforunate enough to have to learn several other learning traits along thw way. However many of my most happy days were at lewis, and i somewhat miss my day's playing on the play ground, being in kindergarden class with mrs. Barbra, Lewis Open Magnet is a good school, but in my opinion it needs to branch out its teaching curriculume

  • I really like the school, and my daughter loves to go there. Her teacher Linda is amazing, however the rest of the staff is pretty rude and unwelcoming. It is too bad that the staff doesn't match the potential of the school.
