  • the reason that this school dont get a high rating is cause of the way hat they are. i bet you that i skipped a million times and they never done anything to me. no i am not bragging. i am just saying that they do not handle there buisness well.

and i think that they should really do something better with the way that they teach. i mean most of the teachers down there just give you work and tell you to do it. they dont really even teach. if i ever have a child, IF I HAVE A CHILD, IT WILL NOT ATTEND CCHS. and that is the truth.

and the girls bathrooms are always full of smoke. they really need to do something about that. n all the guy teachers are pervs. badd.

  • I don't give this school a high rating simply because it doesn't measure up. I am a former student, and although I graduated in '82 from the old Clay Co. High, I have family who's children attend the current Clay Co. High (in the newer school) and they are not satisfied with the way things are handled (or not handled) there.
For instance, I know for a fact that although our schools are supposed to have the "smoke-free environment" in place, you can't walk into the girls bathroom without choking on cigarette smoke. I'm assuming the boys bathrooms are just as bad. Supposedly, this is a smoke-free environment. The truth of the matter is, it is NOT smoke-free so don't kid yourself. Furthermore, I'm told that the person they have monitoring the bathrooms cannot SMELL. What's the point of that?!
As for the general cleanliness of the school, it's not as clean as you might think. There are tobacco stains on the walls, on the floors (spit stains) and been there for a while, you gotta ask yourself why the nightly janitors are being paid for a job that they aren't doing? No wonder the "super-bug", as it's been referred to, won't die out. nothings being done in our schools to get rid of it. It's given a lick and a promise and there you have it.
It's a crying shame because I thought our schools were in better shape than in previous years. To make another point, the security standards aren't what they should be and given the news headlines in recent times, I'd like to think that something was being done to enforce the security measures in place. They should be better. Much better. I would prefer to be given the third degree and be asked to prove everything about myself except what color of underwear I have on when picking up a child. If I had a child attending school there, I'd be seriously concerned about it. Sure, there are measures in place, but I personally I don't think they're good enough. It's been proven all over this nation that it's entirely too easy to go around all that.
No, this school will not get a high rating for my part because it doesn't deserve one, and until something is done to change that, then there's not that much to be proud of, is there?

  • I really didn't like much of the staff. Some people who worked at CCHS during my years, were rude. Some would flirt with students. Some were the type of teachers who needed their licenses revoked, they didn't know what they were doing as much as Freshmen did.

  • i love this school. people are so open and they always have a lot of fun but they just need to work on their lunch procedures.
