  • My son attended headstart at BLE and is now in kindergarden there. I have only good things to say about his teacher and aide from last year as well as this year. It has really amazed me what all he has learned at only 5 years old. I also like knowing that no one is allowed to pick my child up under any circumstances without my permission. In my opinion BLE is a very good school and I would recommend it to anyone.

  • I am a very concerned mother. My child attended the preschool from Aug 2009-Sept 2009, and the horror stories that he came home telling me about the teacher and her procedures especially with discipline was very alarming. She also along with her aide were not comforting in our situation. I have a very good child and I am sure all parents feel that way about their child. But my child is not disruptive. I reported the disturbing behavior to the director of headstart and she just called and kinda blew me off. The preschool teacher also broke confidentiality laws by discussing other kids and their problems with me. I just feel that people should know about this because when I told them that I was just going to take him out and they never even oftened to put him in another teacher's room.
