  • Sinagua Middle School is a fantastic school. All of the students are very kind to one another. We care for our community, and show it by doing blood drives, canned food drives and clothing drives for people who need certain items. Our student council composed up of 6th-8th graders just recently did a fundraiser to help poeple in flagstaff who have recently lost a family member due to lukemia or cancer. All of the money raised goes to those families or research hospitals. Our student body is composed of a very mixed group of children. I absolutely love all of the teachers and staff there. They care for the students and show it by offering help to them or holding them accountable. The teachers at Sinagua Middle School are expecting you to do things on your own, and be responsible. They will not hold your hand and ask you every step of the way, "Do you need me to do something for you sweetie?". They want you to realize that you have to do things on our own. They are helping to prepare you for High school, which will not be an easy thing to persue. From what i have expierienced, they are doing a fantastic job! They have many clubs for all sorts of people.some of them are, N.J.H.S- National Junior Honors Society- which is for kids who have and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 .S.T.U.C.C.O-Student council-is helping students who want to be involved with making lead decisions at Sinagua. They show much responsibility and leadership for our school. W.E.B program- Where Everyone Belongs- is a large group of eighth grade students who voulenteered to give their time to sixth and seventh grade students by giving them a comfortable and welcome atmosphere at SMS. At Sinagua, we want every one to feel welcome and appriciated. There are many more clubs that provide a fun time, or a valuable learning expierience needed for highschool, college, or life. The Sport program offers a wide variety to students. We have Girls volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball, Wrestling, Track,Cross country, and Cheerleading. We are so lucky to have all of the things we do at Sinagua Middle School. It gives students the ability to try out different sports and activitys to try and find out what they really enjoy doing. I am in Love with SMS. We have one of the best facilities in Flagstaff Arizona and we want to keep it looking beautiful. Our Principal is wonderful at keeping students in line and behaving. Bullying has never really been a big subject at Sinagua. No one really bugs one another. we respect our teachers and our fellow studets. That is why I love Sinagua.
