  • My daughter is a student there. My first impression of the staff was that they are willing to go the extra mile in order to ensure that each student receives an education. The only thing I am disappointed in is the service received from the front desk.

  • Wilmington Preparatory Academy has as its strongest point warm caring dedicated teachers who go the extra mile to make sure students get a well rounded education. The atmosphere in the school is very welcoming and excepting. The teachers teach good values and the importance of helping others. Teachers work on preparing the students for EOGs and teach the standard course of study as well as core knowledge. Students are involved in hands on learning projects like wax museums and multicultural fairs. Students are given more attention because of the small class sizes. The music classes are fun and the students perform regularly. Community outreach and the importance of helping other is emphasized. Many field trips are taken to Nursing Homes where the children perform songs they have learned in music. Spanish is also taught to all grades in the school. A new administration has proved to be a great improvement to the school. The students enjoy violin classes and are involved in fundraising to help the community. With a school population of 80 students ,the school collected 650 cans for good shepherd center. Students learn the importance of respecting others and helping others.
