  • My son graduated last year but not from Glen Oaks, I had to transfer him to Mckinley (a great school for college prep). If you have a child that you want to graduate stay away from Glen Oaks High school. They treat the kids like babies then blame then when they take the wrong classes etc. I was offended by the guidance counslor who advised me point blank that my son would not graduate and offered no options. When I mention correspondance she said "save your money, dont waste it". One of his friends stayed at glen Oaks and was in the position to graduate as well took 7 course when they found out later he took the wrong courses which caused him to not graduate. The guidance counselors are aweful. I give glen Oaks a 0/5. Horrible
