  • I pulled my child out in 7th grade and home schooled due to the lack of care at Mt. Airy Middle School. The faculty did nothing to support me and my child in the many problems that came up throughout the school years. I strongly recommend sending your child to a different school. My child and I left with distrust and a bad taste of the school and the community. Believe me when I tell you that most of the free time the children have is unsupervised and that is when the "accidents" happen. Do NOT send your child there if you love them. Currently my child is an A, B student at a safe well staffed school. Ask to see Mount Airy Middle Schools camera system and make sure your child has supervision at all time. Oh right, they don't have one.
