  • Better value by far than any private school in the area. We've never left any event, meeting, etc at the NHS feeling anything less than thrilled we chose NHS over private options, even though we could have easily afforded private tuition. Teachers are professional, experienced and enthusiastic and hold higher degrees/certification than private school teachers. Many opportunities for student enrichment, clubs, activities, Honors/AP courses, National Honor Societies. More funding of course would help, but truly, the teachers make the difference. Why pay more for a private school diploma which will not get your child into a better college?

  • good small town school. never will be more until a prop 2 1/2 override to fund higher quality and enrichment programs.
