  • Norht High school deserves more credit than it desrves. I'm a former student from the class of 2010 and I do not hesitate to express how supportive the school was to myself and other individual students. There is an atmosphere that welcomes diversity and polishes uniqueness. The staff is rational, yet encouraging and guides their students to gather their strengths and explore any unchallenged arguement. The opportunities are marvelous and abundant. I came there exhausted and stressed, and the impact North High school left upon me was indeed more than I expected. This I'd like to make clear is not an act of adulation nor flattery. I really mean what I'm saying. If I could do any thing to support the school I certainly would. The decision really depends on the students themselves. If you seek great education you will indeed find it. But if you don't take it seriously North High school will not force it. The staff will just annoy the heck out of you until you do. X3 Even parents are welcome to get involved if they choose to.

  • i have heard a great mix of negavtive and postive things from this school. "it's such a bad school." "They don't teach anything that is useful or valid." but guess what that's not all, "it has a really good atmosphere." "It's easy to learn" "There are some really good classes" and more of both. One thing to always keep in mind is that the education that you recieve is what you make of it and how you put it to practice.

  • when i was a teenager this school was the worst. i was the class of 2000 and if you werent hispanic or a big tough black person you would be made fun of and hurt. i was that white guy and i wasnt the only one. I blaimed my parents and told them i wanted to switch... unfortunatly i wasnt able to because i lived in the north quadrent and we didnt have the money for a privite school. i ended up going to UMASS darthmouth and i am working with dental hygiene. My cousin now goes there and she says she is very happy. I was very shocked. she told me everyone is nice and she made plenty of friends with many diffrent races. She takes all AP classes because she did admit that there education is still not very good. Her mother told me that she gets home at 2 and most days isn't finished until 4 or 5. I used to never get homework and was never taught. It is a fact that this school has improved magnifisicantly.

  • Worcester North High school is a solid school and its only going to get better when the new school is built. Im a senior now (class of 2009) and the way I think of North is Great teachers inside a crappy building. Once the building is complete im sure this school will be the #1 choice throughout worcester. And hopefully the racist suburb white parents will cut the bull****** and realize they are rude as hell. Im from shrewsbury and im full white and I could've went to shrewsbury high. Everyone's too racist there they need to give it a damn break its 2008, not 1758...

I am not yet a student of North, but this August, I will begin as a freshman. I am very scared to attend, because I am so used to middle school. My friends that go there say it's not a bad school. Just mind your own business, do as you're instructed to, and the year will run smoothly. But who wouldn't be nervous? It's a new experience, and tv makes high school appear to be scary. So if you're nervous, don't feel badly, because you are not the only one. The "cool" kids will act like they're not timid, but in
reality, they're just as afraid as the next kid.

  • Worcester North High is a pretty good school. They have alot of good teachers that are very understanding that every body learns on a different level and are really easy going when it comes to running a classroom. They have really good athletic teams and are really good with setting up schedules and use block schedules so you can have more classes in a year.
