  • Quality of education was poor. Choice of technology for students was very limited and poor. Available classes for seniors was very low. I had to take classes I didn't want just to fill my day (a complete waste of time). CHS needs more "creative" classes to make learning fun.

  • I have a student who will be entering 10th grade this fall. He has adhd and also is E.I. He has had many troubles, behavior as well academic. during his years of schooling. I have been very pleased with the dealings he has had with almost all of his teachers especially the Special Ed. dept. He has attended Lakeland, Jefferson, Legg Middle and C.H.S. His teacher's have been great but, I believe they are exceptional. I was very skeptical when he entered Legg but the first year there he excelled and even made the honor roll but, after that it was rough until he hit 8th grade and was put into Gretchen Ennis's classroom. He then brought his grades up. At the high school he has made honor roll his 1st year at C.H.S. although I know he is very smart academically he would not of achieved this solely on his own. Good teacher's and their support made this possible.
