  • My Kids both go to this school district. There is ample opportunity for parents to get involved, and obvious opportunity to not. Your school years will be what you make them. It's your choice, it's your destiny. If you think your life stinks it will. If you think your life is wonderful I bet it will be. Take your experience into your own hands and stop blaming everyone else for things that only you can control. Lakesore is an adequate school. It is my children and our actions as parents that will make their experiences memorable ones.

  • Well according to the last review I was suppose to have a bad experience at Lakeshore but I had a good one. I was not a jock, was not in the in crowd, not a band member i was in no real group at the school and i had a very memorable time at school. If one were really to think about the last review on here which was given a D you can clearly see that the school is not the problem and the real problem rests at home with the parents. This parent has no reason but themselves to blame for their problems a kid running away from home parents fault, student not graduating because of credits parent and student, student fighting parents problem. All the problems rest with the parents. Lakeshore schools has a great program with teachers who care about you and are always there to help out when you have a problem with school or other problems. Since i have graduated there are new teachers so the English department is now much better.

  • Lakeshore has only gotten worse over the years. As a past graduate, I can tell you first hand about the snobbery and pettiness of the administration and student body. If you are seen as the "In crowd" Or "Having Money" Or "A Jock" then you will do well here, otherwise this school can be hell for a student.
My children currently attend Lakeshore Schools (I am too poor to afford Private education).
The worst mistake I have made as a parent Was to move to the Lakeshore School District. I have had nothing but problems from my children since they have been here. One ran away from home at 17 to move in with a boyfriend, One went from a straight A student to not having enough credits to graduate with their class, one has had disciplinary problems (fighting etc..) and the youngest is being bullied
