  • I happen to have really like my time at McGuire. There is not a playground, but there's no recess either, so it doesn't really matter. The teachers do give out homework, but it's easy, and projects are the kind where it's your fault if you're not keeping up. The ceilings and floors were just redone this year, so leakages (which were mostly in hallways under skylights) are much fewer. Most of the teachers were friendly, and if not that, at least tolerable. The students are WAY nicer than those from other schools I've been to, but a little drama is the middle school way. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there, and I think it was a great place to spend my middle school years.

  • seriously!!! the school's not that bad!! dude!! im a student there. We dont have a "playground" cause its middle school. middle schoolers could care less about playgrounds. this school does well on mcas, too, thats what homework is for. ever heard the word? and it may take awhile, but hey, its not the end of the world. people are nice there, and drama and mean teachers are at every school. its reality!

  • No one likes the (...). No one. Sometimes we hear the teachers talking about him. 99% of students hate him. No one likes him. About 70% of the school has no common sense. They are also just lazy. The sport costs are ridiculous. $175 for what? We don't get to keep the uniforms. They are ugly, and We have like five away games. It's nonsense. Classrooms have leaks coming from the ceiling. We have collection buckets in the classrooms, more than one in the rooms that have them. We have no playground. Our "playground" is the track and football field. Homework varies from each teacher. Math you get homework most everyday. Some more difficult than others. But when you don't get home everyday in certain classes, like english, when you do get it, we have to stay up until midnight to get it done. This school sucks. Not one of the students like it. Over 50% of the teachers no-one likes. The students don't respect each other. It doesn't work like that. Mcguire is home and shelter to this thing called drama. The rules are ridiculous. The teachers gossip about students. Students gossip about students. This school is terrible.
