  • School makes a good showing but graduates children who cannot read or write very well if at all. Rarely will a student score high enough on standardized tests to even rank as unsatisfactory. The top students at the school are recruited from the public schools where they have already achieved higher than the seniors at MSD.

  • We were visitors from Carriere, Ms. who came to see our nephew play basketball in the Mason Dixon Tournament. He is from VSDB. Unfortunately we do not "sign" but we were very impressed that everyone was so helpful and polite. It was a new experience for us and one we will not soon forget. The Gymnasium was spectacular, the scoreboard was state of the art, and most of all, the kids were GREAT! Thanks for showing us a wonderful time. Your staff deserves a "standing ovation".
