  • I think it may be because of the volume of students there. It it around 700 students. Can you imagine if all of the parents decided to come to school to visit at the same time?

  • I really dislike this school. My child attends this school now and I can not wait until the school year is over! I really enjoy staying in Walls but I am moving out of Walls just so my child wont have to attend this school next year. I feel like they have something to hide! My child hasn't been attending this school long so he doesn't know his way to his classroom yet and they would not allow me to walk him to his classroom because they claim class had already started????? which I already knew because my child was tardy! But my point is if they were so worried about me walking my child to class being an interuption why did they take another student out of class to come down and escort my child back to class?????? They also require that you give them atleast a 24hr notice before you come to visit a child's class????? WHY?? I have never heard of any such thing from my child's previous school. This school gives me a weird feeling like they have things to hide.If you like to know the honest truth about what your child is learning, or if you are a parent that likes to suprise visit your child's class, dont send your child HERE!!!! They are more secretive then the CIA!

  • To the parent that blogged her this satisfied report of the school in Walls, MS: You have every right to feel the way you do concerning your child's education. I understand immensely what you are referring to when it comes to your child's education at Walls Elementary. I concur on your perspective for I have been informed of the same thing by other parents concerning their children attending this school. I dislike the fact t that they are so hush hush concerning your child's activities in the classroom for lack of better phrase. I f you want to do something about it email me. I can't do it by myself I need help and support. [email protected]

  • I, moved to Walls in 2007. I have two children that attend walls. I have several issues with the school that range from they are not organized very well an the lack of communication with the school administration. They sometime seem to not be very professional with parents who have questions concerning their children. Anytime you have a conference it is always no more than 15 minutes which not enough time if you have more than one issue they seem to want to hide things until you find out then they just want to sugarcoat the issue instead of be honest in the beginning.
