  • On behalf of my granddaughter a 4th grader-she has been diagnosed ADHD and has not been receiving needed help. The contents of her folder were "lost" over the summer and all has had to be replaced by her parents. She is floundering in her studies and is on medication, but has been denied any extra help. There is no plan in place for her. What is the problem? Last year she did have a behavioral modification plan, but the teacher was too"busy'" to follow it. Her civil rights have been denied. What can we do further since she has already lost half of the school year" Her parents have had at least 3 meetings with the teacher and principal, but apparently no interest or cooperation.
