  • As a parent, I am extremely disappointed in this school. The principal seems to have gotten control of the violence for the most part, but that is all she seems to care about. The kids have outdated books and according to the principal "the kids do not need books with today's technology." They are in no way preparing those kids for college or for life after high school

  • as a student, i have to agree. records say its the third most violent school in the U.S. you'd be better off going to school in compton than here.

  • This school sucks if you have to go to this school then god has deemed that you are to burn in all of the school's drama, horrible teaching of the staff, and the worst of all, the school lunch's which I believe that they intentionally endorse obesity, and Violence amongst students and student arguments with the staff, also I believe that the school demolishes the self esteem of the student and their hopes and dreams. furthermore the staff do no seem interested to help everyone and picks favorites.
it also seems to be the policy of the school to undermine most extra-cirricular activities that aren't related to sports (such as Chess club or the academic team) while seeming to everything possible to bolster tier own football team and cheerleaders. So if you are parent looking for a good environment for your children i suggest you take them to a downtown Los Angeles school before you take your child to Fernley High School
