  • Unfortunately this school NEEDS lot of improvements and an entire replacement of its school administrators....

First the so call CASA program is a complete fiasco (take it from a parent whose child attended this program) the core of the 21st CCLC program is excellent, but I don't think the CASA administrators are really following it.

Second, not all the teachers seem to care about the kids and their progress... to top it off... some of them are "TEXTING" in the middle of the class when the number one rule in the school is "NO PHONES ALLOWED"... therefore, what are we teaching our kids? That, it is ok to break the rules.... what can I answer to my child when I am prompted with the questions: "why the teacher can text in the middle of the class?”

Third, their organization skills when it comes to activities that involve parent’s participation are TERRIBLE. Their microphone system is deplorable, but the worst of all is when a school administrator plans an event and does not put out enough chairs to accommodate the attendees… and later says: "please try to accommodate, otherwise I would have no choice but to pull more chairs from underneath the stage….” Are you kidding me? You should have put them all out in the first place!

WE ARE the parents HENCE the customers! And to be disrespected in such proportion is unacceptable… DO NOT confuse a hard working parent for an uneducated one, or a non-English speaker for an ignorant… they all have the right to be treated with respect, and to attend events (this includes CASA as well) that are prepared carelessly is indeed an act of disrespect not only to us [parents] but also to our children…

The list can go on, and on, and on…

So now, is this really a good school?

  • I never expected this school to be this good since I heard so many things about it. The website to see your children's process is awesome since parents are aware off everything going on at school and for children that are doing great they have a great free after school program called CASA.
