  • Hello! I am about to be in the sixth grade at Palms Elementary. I have been here since about the middle of fourth grade. Palms is great. The new principal of the 2009-2010 and now the 2010-2011 school year is great and is working harder than ever to make Palms a better school day by day. All Palms' teachers try their hardest to have all students achieve farther than the students themselves even believe. Palms' teachers don't give up on students and make sure students don't give up on themselves. Some of Palms' extracurricular activities and sports are track, band, and student council. Palms is very big on safety, but to the extent where us students can still have fun. Homework is just well homework. As kids, it may seem more fun to go outside and play or hop on the video games, but homework is very important to Palms it is not too much yet not too little unless you repeatedly not turn in your homework then you get detention during recess or it piles up. It depends on your grade level. Anyways, Palms Elementary is a great school. The principal, staff, and students are friendly and openhearted to anyone who wants to be a Puma! At Palms, you can have fun, but still learn the meaning of responsibility.

  • This is a wonderful school. I've been here for 11 years as part of PTA. It is amazing to me that parent participation is really low. GO Pumas!
