  • I honestly don't understand how this school got so man "5/5" stars. I am a former student there and I spent all of my middle school years there. The school is alright I suppose, not that great in the education area(but hey it is Alamogordo)the discipline there needs some improvement I was never bullied there but I saw many acts of it being carried out IN FRONT of teachers who did nothing to stop it. Oh well I don't know how much it has changed since the last time I was there, which was in 2008. So...go MVMS~

  • The school is a great place to go. It has a strict policy that if any student does inappropriate behavior he/she will be punished with a referall(causing I.S.S,O.S.S,or even arrested for minor infractions such as vandalism).I do not believe that one of the football players would do such a thing as to throw a kid, the coaches and staff would not have tolerated that behavior. I feel strongly about this schools education and and hardworkig staff.

  • I have to give this school a 0 out of 5 for sportsmanship. They just lost to Holloman Middle school. I guess this is the first game they have lost in nearly 8 years. The players on Mt. View were giving the kids at Holloman rabbit punches whenever they thought they could get away with it. One player picked up a Holloman kid and threw him on his head. Then the entire View bench broke out laughing and continued to giggle about it even when the Holloman child took over 10 mins to get up.

I would never send my child there or let my child play for these thugs.

  • This is definitely a nice school. Although the school could do a better job at disciplining the students. In my year of 6th grade i was pushed by a girl and grabbed on the arm by a guy and nothing happened to the girl and the guy got one day ISS. So the only thing bad about mvms is this. otherwise the school is a wonderful place and the teachers are great.
