  • I was in this school for kindergarten and first grade before moving in 2002.The teachers are exceptional and the classrooms are a perfect size for the average 16 students per class.I enjoyed having the outdoors right outside the classes and the large recess area.Gym is(or was)held in the cafeteria,a basketball hoop and climbing rope are in there along with a stage.Mikinley has a Fun Day,Jump Rope for Heart,it celebrates Dr.Seuss's Birthday and all of the holidays.Children have so much fun at Mikinley.
