  • My school has been a student there since kindergrten now he is in his last year there, it is going to be so sad to see him leave a place that helped my learn to read, write ec.. He was delayed in a few areas but the teachers worked with me and each other and now my son his brnging home the best grades. I wish this school went up to the 12th grade I would keep him there. I HIGHLY recommend this school.

  • The new leadership at the school has been excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. Students are performing at a much higher level than other schools in the area. There are many programs: YMCA after-school program is right there after dismissal, students use the new playground in Lincoln Park for recess, just a few steps away, the school offers Ballroom Dance, Drama Club, Bird-Watching, NYS Museum Partnership, Smart Boards in the classroom, Scratch Computer Program, and a state-of-the-art, updated facility with updated computers in every classroom. There is a full-time Librarian, Music Teacher, Museum Coordinator, Science Lab. teacher, and Computer Lab teacher. The art program is excellent too. There are many services offered: psychologist, social workers, speech, occupational, Reading Recovery, Math, and English as a Second Language (ESL). It's a great place!

  • I went to school here about 15 years ago. I enjoyed the learning incentive they had for children with IEPs and learning disabilities. They also taught team work and attributed to my love of books. I learned latin there which has helped me now. I loved TOAST and I would recommend it to anybody!
