  • Most staff members are great, no problems with them, but the (...) needs to do a better job, especially for regulations regarding loading and unloading students. A hectic mess every single afternoon.

  • For the sake of your child don't be so easily fooled. I know we are all busy with work and activities. Don't just take the reputation of a school for granted. Holly Avenue School, like many schools in a high performing district is not what it appears to be on the surface.
The principal gives you the obligatory "smile" and you, as a parent think it is all great you get nice parent letters from the school touting all wonderful things going on.

Was the principal promoted within the district or was this individual fully vetted?
IIs this person truly qualified for the job?
Find out the principal's salary-you would be surprised, is this a person who is biding their time in a cushy job until they can retire?

Stand up for your child don't be intimidated, our taxes are paying the high salary for an unqualified, "old boy network" promoted principal.

We have the responsibility to our children to see what is truly under the veneer of a smiling face and good public relations skills.
Is this person qualified to be leading our children's education?

Do your homework-things are not always as they seem even if the test scores look great -is all this honest and transparent?
