  • I am a former Huskie, and now have all 3 of my children there. Hunter Huss has truly been a great experience for my children. The school spirit, the teachers, the environment; it all makes for a great school day. The IB program is great and gives Hunter Huss students a step up compared to other area high schools. Go Huskies!! 1977 grad!

  • I started Hunter Huss the first year it opened, wish I had used the staff more and applied myself more, they were there for us students but youth, sure is hard to get through without making mistakes, I did my share but made up for it later, got my GED, went to trades schools, N.C. Vocational Textile School 2 years and Owens Tec. here in Toledo Ohio where I live now for 4 years, got a great life but it could of been so much better if I had just stayed in high school and sought more help with the courses that I had a problem learning, the help was there, great staff, it was my loss, but thankfully I did stay on a reasonable path, got 3 great kids and 7 grandkids, just hope we can get them all through school and College too, so we can break this cycle of learning the hard way, take some advice and stay in school and seek help if you need it with your study's, thanks
