  • I have not experienced any serious issues since my kids have been there. I make sure that I make an appearance in the classroom everyday and avail myself to get involved with my kids. Last year I went and played with my son and his classmates in PE and truely enjoyed myself.

  • The Teachers at parkview are horrible! My son as a kindergartner his first week in school was made to sleep on the HARD CONCRETE FLOOR!! Even though I spent $$$ on a very nice and plush mat for him to nap on. The mat was light beige with his full name written in HUGE BLACK LETTERS on the back- his name was the full length of the mat. I went to pick up my son who had tears in his eyes, his teacher had given him a note for me stating I should be a better parent and my child did not deserve to sleep on the floor! Needless to say I was livid!! I asked my son why he did not sleep on his mat and he said that he did not see it in the cabinet. He said the teacher told everyone to go to the cabinet and get thier mat and everyone ran up to get a mat and by the time he got there his wasn't their!! Keep in mind this is kindergarten and many of the kids I am sure do not know their mat yet its was the beginning of the school year. I couldnt believe the teacher did not take the time to hand out the mats to each of the kids. And why was my son not allowed to place his head on the desk and not made to sleep on the COLD DIRTY CONCRETE FLOOR!!! I have never been so upset IN MY LIFE!!! No matter after I let the teacher and her assistant (yes she had an assistant!)have it I quickly took my son to another school. I am sure things like this dont happen to the white students the teacher would have checked every kid to see where that students mat was not assuming that because he was a certain race he probably didnt have one.
