  • Im a Senior This Year At Tipp, And I Have Realized That The School Isnt As Bad As It Has Been Made Out To Be. This School Does Have A LARGE Percentage Of Racist Goody Goody Kids, Druggy Baseball Players, And Alcoholic Football Players, But As Society Advances, Our School Is Going To Have To Learn To Accept These Things. The Only Reason Our Schools Drug And Alcohol Problem Is Well Known Is Because It Is Uncommon For Us, Unlike Our Neighbor Schools Like Dayton And Trotwood Whom Have Many More Problems That Society Can Hear About If They Tune Into Channel 7 Everynite. But As A Student Whom Has Never Had A Detention, But Had A Saturday School And A Suspension( FOR CALLING A STUDENT A BABY) Due To Lack Of Braincells In The Staff, I Have Realize That School Is A Once In A Lifetime Thing And That It Is Truly A Priveledge To Have An Education And That Kids Need To Get Out Of Their Drama Filled Lives And Live A Little. We Do Have Several Kids In Our School That Feast On Drama and Im Here To Tell You That As The Kid With The Nicest, Well Lit, Fastest Car In The Parking Lot, I DONT feast on drama and i do not beg and plead for money from my parents. Live a little, work and earn money to have nice things and change our school. Dont Leave our school as A goody goody racist kid, leave as a kid amongst a group of kids who can make a difference.

  • You get a good education here and it has a relatively safe environment. People who hate this school have obviously never had any other experience in different types of schools in different places. I have, and I know that this is the best school I have been to. The administration isn't the brightest and the teachers don't get paid enough, but the quality of education is high. Most that attend this school, are middle to upper class white kids, and they bring sheltered and narrow minded attitudes. Go for the school, not the crowd.

  • wow all these people are idiots that think this is a bad school. By far the best around education and safety wise. The teachers do help the special kids especially if the kids actually speak up and ask for help they will get all the help they need. I would have to say 80% of the students LIKE the school idk what this person is talking about. I am a highschooler also....but anyways if you want a good school that has a great reputation and offers many good courses i would go here.

  • That seems like an unfair assessment. I too graduated from Tipp 16 years ago - as did my parents and grandparents. I received a solid education. I graduated from college (which I put myself through after eight years in the military). I have seen a lot of the world. I've lived in MN, IA, SC, NC, and TN. Tipp's kids ARE sheltered from a lot of poverty and crime. It makes for a nice city to live.
I don't think that kids really hate Tipp. I think the ones who hate it, haven't lived yet. When I realized what I had, I bought a home here and am raising my four kids here. I don't regret my decicion. For the student who wrote the last note, come back in ten years and see what Tipp really has to offer a family. You may be surprised how inviting it really is.
