  • I really hope this school has changed it academic program. I went to this school back in the day from 1973-1980 when Mr. Lambardo was principal. I had the most awful time. I felt cheated out of an education, I especially remembered Ms. Hudson my third grade teacher who spent more time with the spanish speaking children, showing them flash cards and teaching them the basic english language. I have a very vivid memory of this school, and at that time it sucked. I think it is a shame that employees in the school district do not go the extra mile to help every student. If you was not exceptionally smart or illiterate, you did not receive the help to boost your progress.
Sorry but it was a bad experience for me. Again I hope things has changed though.
    I remember the following staff:
    Ms. Jackson-was my Kindergarden teacher.
Ms. Overgard- was my first grade teacher.
Mr. Overlander-was my second grade teacher.
Ms. Beasley was my forth grade teacher (until she fell ill, I never saw her again) Another teacher took over, but then he left as well.
I had multiple teachers for my fifth grade to remember any of them.
She was not my teacher but I also remember Ms Jarol, Ms. Cole who eventually married a preacher guy and had her 1st baby.
And for some reason I just can't think of my sixth grade teacher, I have her face in mind but the name will not come to me. My friends and I would misjudge her so. Not understanding what she was putting in her coffee, It was only creamer. But what did we know as kids? She always appeared to be under the influence of maybe alchol. She freguently had slurred speech. In any case, That was my experience, again, keep in mind this was from 1973-1980. Thanks for patiently reading, It was obviously something that I had to get off my chest.
