The high school emphasis in this community is athletics. My student who has been #1 in nearly every class taken and who has won 80% of the awards at the yearly award assembly was unable to get >24 on the ACT without outside help/study. The elementary is better, but you will not be important here unless you are an athlete! Coaches get away with abysmal performance in the classroom!
