  • This school is the only reason that I have a high school diploma! I moved to Grandfield in March of 1986. I had the worst grades anyone from Grandfield could have, or even try to have! I came from a school with an average 125 students per teacher! It was not pretty! You can only imagine 1 teacher trying to control 100+ students. I learned in Grandfield the value of teacher student relationships, it's not easy for a teacher to reach out and help each individual student. But I learned more from this small school than I would ever learn from any large institution or college than I would need to know how to survive in the world we live now!
Many of you do not know me, some of you may! For those of you I have had the privilege, I will never forget my time spent in Grandfield, and I hope to be able to visit again soon!
Please don't take for granted what this town has to offer, as you will not get it where I am from, or where I am now!
    Best wishes,
James Roberts Class of 1990, GO BEARCATS!
