  • I had a meeting concerning my child recieving demerits for being on the inelligible list. Prior to this our children are put on probation the week before where they are given time to make-up work or bring up their grade before the following week or they will be put on the ineligible list. My daughter or I did not recieve any indication she was on probation or that her grade had dropped from an 83 in just 2wks. When I met with Dr. Berry he did'nt even act sympathetic towards my concerns he implied it was all my daughters fault for not approaching the teacher to make up a month old test. I just got excuses that the schools list that the child can sign to allow them knowledge of their probation was just a luxury and who cares if she did'nt get asked to sign it till the week she was inneligible. The teacher or sponser did'nt tell her. How is our children suppose to avoid being inneligible if no one lets them know. Yet when a parent comes to bring it to their attention it is still ignored and she has to keep the demerits. Why is this school ignoring a parents plea to do what is right?
