  • MY CHILDREN HAVE ATTENDED COTTONWOOD HIGH SCHOOL FOR THREE YEARS. I LOVE THE CONVENIENCE OF BOTH CHILDREN GOING TO ONE LOCATION. HOWEVER, THE PARENT- TEACHER COMMUNICATION NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. THE SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE REMODELED AND THE NEED FOR BOOKS AND EQUIPMENT IS IN GREAT DEMAND. MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR A NEW ADMINISTRATION! HOWEVER, MY KIDS ENJOY IT. PRAY FOR FUNDS NOT TO BE USED FOR FOOTBALL.

  • Wouldn't send my Children anywhere else. I don't think they could get a better high school experience. Good education? Absolutley! Friends that will last a life time? Without a doubt!

  • I believe that the Cottonwood High School is a great place to be. So, maybe the school doesn't offer very many Extra Co. classes. Maybe that is what I believe needs to be improved. I would like a better variety to choose from.

    It deserves an A

  • Cottonwood high school is a very good school to attend. I have attended here since I was in second grade and currently I am a freshman.

Cottonwood doesn't have many people so everyone pretty much knows everyone.

There are only two things I would change, some of the teachers and a better variety of classes to choose from.

  • My daughter loves her school. I think it beats Rehobeth.

  • i have attended Cottonwood High since well into the first grade. I am now going into my senior year. I, for one, adore Cottonwood. At one point in my life, I had a trying situation occur. It was then the Cottonwood school and community pulled together and gave their up most support. As far as friendliness this school deserves an A++. :-D
Now to academics. I feel the school could do more on their part to raise scores on county wide exams and such. Cottonwood is indeed a poor school that is widely frowned upon. I feel as though if the school were to receive a little more money from the state each year, then we could most definitely reach our standards or even surpass them! One of my other few complaints about the school is they have their priorities a little out of whack! I mean none of the restrooms have locks, but a motion activated towel dispenser has been installed! what? We need new books in the classrooms but over $1,000 was spent on new laptops, to replace the new flat-screens in the labs! why?
I do believe that teachers may need to spend more time with students and I think students need to be easier on teachers. Lets all give each other breaks and go by the phrase Hakunna Me tata! God bless!

  • I think this school leaves a lot to be desired. The students are not very good, maybe because the school isn't very good, and it's not the same as going to school in other states. I've been to my share of schools, and even one in this district are better. If we could shape up the school, the students would get better, therefore children might actually want to attend this school, and maybe the state would offer more money to this school. I just think Cottonwood needs to really think about how it could get better, because it obviously needs to get better.
    Thanks,
    Cottonwood Student
