  • My children starting attending this school 3 years ago, after attending Leib elementary. From the time I walked in this school, I got a bad feeling. Everyone seemed rude and unhappy. Well here we are 3 years later and I must say the first impressions I got this time were right-on. Everyone is rude. The teachers, the cafeteria workers, the aides, everyone. The school is so disorganized and unprofessional I feel bad sending my kids there everyday. I've personally talked to the (...) quite a few times, teachers a few times and they were even rude to me! Recently there has been a change, the school has a new (...). She has made everything worse! I even went into the office and asked for a message to be left for her to call me and I never received a call back. This school is completely different than Leib. Everyone at Leib was polite and caring. I never had any issues. I feel like I've completely moved into a different district at Weigelstown. It's so frustrating that my husband and I are considering homeschooling. There are just so many kids in one classroom here and so many different teaching methods I honestly believe these kids are not getting the attention and help they deserve and need. If you can help it, I would not send my kids to this school.

  • Many teachers in this school give 100% to the children. I like the principal Mrs. Sue Kanigsberg. She is nice and helpful. It is a nice school. I am happy my son goes there.

  • Weigelstown Elementary is the best school in The county. The students are respectful, responsible, hard working, and caring students. The teachers and support staff are special because of the way they care for each child. They are a group of adults that would do anything to make a childs life better. They are dedicated, responsible, respectful, caring, hard working, and loving.
Everyone is Eagle proud of their beautiful building, principal, teachers, aides, support staff and volunteers.
