  • This school recently switched from a 4 and 5 grade only to a k-5 school. There are no walls between classrooms, which can be distracting. Teachers are great, (...) is clueless(she means well). School department known for denying iep and 504 plans to disabled students routinely, Quid is no exception. The facilities do not even exist for proper sensory support for asd kids-the ot 'room' is a cubicle in the hallway with no swings, no crash mats; no equipment, really, besides a yoga may on the floor. The school also routinely excludes low income kids by charging to participate in public school activities, like 50 dollars to participate in the school play or 13 dollars for a recorder that is needed for music class. There are constant fundraisers and raffles and fees. This school needs help connecting with the types of families it serves.
