  • Howard is not as bad as people tend to make. I am recent graduate of Howard from the class of 2009. I transferred there because of a family move. There are excellent teachers there. There are also some unruly students there as well but what high school doesn't have them? A few bad apples shouldn't spoil the whole bunch. I go to a great academically competitive college and I graduated from Howard. I know plenty of students who are doing well in school. I learned a lot. It's all about the individual. I wanted to learn, so I did. The teachers there are caring. I know that some teachers may not care as much as they should but there are really good people in that institution. I feel as though people look at the "reputation" and listen to the hear say before they have actually experienced going to the school. If you go into something with preconceived thoughts of how you heard it would be or should be then you will automatically have a negative attitude towards it. I am making something out of my self and I am a proud Howard Hustlin' Tiger!

  • This school is great for any one who doesn't want to learn. but on the other hand if you do want to learn then i give this school a thumbs down. some has to get control of these students. its like a zoo of animals that have gotten loose! This is coming from a student that has attended howard and have to come back. if you are a parent DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO HOWARD. a little word of advice!
