  • My daughter had Mrs. Ogletree (Kindergarden) last year. Please check in on your babies if they are in her class this year. Several times my daughter was made to nap without her blanket (only her). Aslo, my little girl is shy, and didn't always speak loudly when answering questions, she was punished by walking serveral laps around the playground. The worst thing however, was when the student teacher called me and explained that my daughter had raised her hand and asked to use the bathroom several times over a few hour period, and Mrs. Ogletree kept telling her ,"No, not now." This went on from around 9am, until 11:15am when she had an accident on herself. The student teacher asked me to come a get my little girl because Mrs. Ogletree was planning on punishing her for the accident. When I got there, my daughter was wearing very dirty boys clothes, even though I had sent an extra outfit at the start of the year incase of spills or falls, but I never imagined that happening. I had throughout the year requested confrences between Mrs. ogletree, Mr. Winningham (the principal), and myself. Finally , when the potty accident happend Mr. Winningham made time, and the only thing her teacher said several times was that she assumed we where Mexican because of our last name ( that should have nothing to do with it!!!) ...but we are not, my grandparents are Greek!... Just please, please....check in, check up, and watch closely. Things like these can, and will stay with our little ones. I have since had several parents talk to me about their own horror stories. I just wish someone would have spoken up sooner. Good luck with the new year guys! Be safe and have fun!
