  • When Mr. Davy Jones & Dr. Steve Slaughter were the Principals there, learning was meaningful and the kids were disciplined with dignity. Most kids didn't want to leave from there because of the caring that took place. They were caring, but they meant business. We need more heroes like them. Not to say that the current administration is not doing a good job, but these men showed up after hours at sporting events that their students had, etc. Where are they now? GOD knows that we need heroes like this! Heard they're gone due to politics similar to Hill Elementary.
