    Reward Program

Fun Fridays are back for the 2010 - 2011 school year! Fun Friday is just one way we celebrate with our students for their hard work and dedication here at CMS. This is a scheduled time away from class where students get to have fun, play, and interact with their classmates. In order to earn this reward, students must meet all of the following criteria: no zeros, no detentions, and no N’s in conduct on report cards. Fun Fridays are scheduled following each six weeks grading period. A few of the things our parties included last year were bingo with cool prizes, movies & popcorn, and a dance at the end of the year. We have great things planned for this year as well. Our goal is for every student to get to participate this year. We hope to see you there!

Attendance is extremely important! We like to recognize students with perfect attendance each six weeks. We will have different ways of recognizing these students throughout the year. We will also recognize each student with perfect attendance for the year. In order to have perfect attendance for the year, students must be present in every class every day. Students who accomplish this task will be taken on a field trip in May. Last year we attended a Rough Rider’s baseball game in Frisco. Please keep in mind we do want your child at school if at all possible, but we understand that everyone does get sick. Please do not send your child to school if they are truly sick.

Honor Roll is another way that we reward and recognize our students. Students making all A’s and/or B’s on their report cards will be recognized each six weeks. We will have different ways of recognizing these students throughout the school year.

Renaissance and CARE both help sponsor some of the prizes and activities that we use during the school year to reward our students. Renaissance will provide the concession stand at all home volleyball games. All of the proceeds from the concession stand will go directly to our students. If you would like to donate anything to our reward program, please contact the school office. We would love for you to be involved in helping us motivate and encourage our students to be the best they can be!

We look forward to another great school year at CMS!
