  • Hi,
My name is Ron Cooper and I am the Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Alexandra Friends of the Library Bookshop in Alexandra, Victoria Australia. We have been donated one of your ex library books (Tai-Pan) books by a local resident here. How about that all the way from Houston Texas. Our address is 99 Grant Street? I would like to hear you comment.
    Kind Regards,
    Ron Cooper

  • This school needed such an attitude adjustment from the kids when I went there, I know that everybody has high school horror stories, but this school was absolutely ridiculous. If you don't have money, you are absolutely nobody. And the kids who had the money, spent it all on drugs or alcohol. If you weren't in either of those categories, you were teased and ridiculed constantly.
And the teachers did nothing about it then. It was very sad. The classes were also overcrowded then, so teachers didn't like to take too much time to answer questions. That was in 2001, I hope they have made some improvements on those things since then.
