  • I am a parent of a 16 year old 10th grader who had MANY issues last year in the public school system (she went to the stony point 9th gr center last year). she met kids who smoked pot, and WORSE (cocaine, pills, methamphetamine) and just completely fell in to that lifestyle. She attempted suicide once, ran away from home 5 times, was arrested for breaking into a home that was "for sale", and 'living' in it for a week (while listed as a runaway), prior to the owner coming in, catching her and her friends "living" there, and he whacked her in the head with a 2 x 4. She had to have 36 staples in her head . I MUST get her into a different learning situation. I am NOT enrolling her in school tomorrow. I have been online for weeks, and she is on wait lists for many online schools (K12, John Adams, Texas Virtual Academy) some are public others are private, and the private ones I really can not afford. i was widowed in 2007. I saw your listing, and thought maybe you could help me, or even direct me to someone (or somewhere) that CAN,
Thank you so much for reading and responding to this!

    God Bless!
