  • All schools in Del Rio Texas are as bad as gets in America. The school district is a joke.

  • Ok, what is it with you people trashing our school that way?! This is NOT a bad school; if you feel it didn't prepare you for the real big scary world it's because YOU DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION. When was the last time you were here, anyway? "Nobody cares if you come or not."?! Ha, I WISH they didn't care! I have always been a well-behaved person, and I can honestly say that, last semester, I got all of my credits taken away because I was absent 10 days and the limit is 9. I WAS ABSENT 1 MEASLEY, PATHETIC DAY TOO MUCH, and now I'm stuck making up hours. Needless to say, they track our tardies and absenses LIKE HAWKS. Oh, how I wish they didn't care enough to notice. Oh, and one other thing: seeing as how my grades are average, the school figured I could do better than just average, so I was enrolled into a college prep course (NOT my choice) and I now feel thoroughly prepared for college.

  • I started at del rio high school an all advanced gt student expecting to graduate a year early after spending 3 years there i was failing all my classes an was gonne be held an extra year. The poblm with this school is the teachers dont care if you go to class or do your home work and no one monitors to see if the students go to school!

  • I am a graduate of 1998 and am now a doctor. I was in their AP Honors program and found that many of my freshman college courses were the exact same material that I was taught in high school. I felt well prepared for college and excelled there. My teachers were dedicated and truely contributed to the foundation of my education. I think this is a great school for those interested in learning.

  • Terrible school. never studied, never did homework. BUT I PASSED THE TAAS TEST! That's all the school was concerned with. No college prep. Terrible teachers (except for a select few) terrible leadership, corrupt security guards, DRUGS DRUGS AND MORE DRUGS. I went to college and was way behind my fellow classmates because of the lack of college prep offered by the school. If you can at all costs, avoid sending your children to this school!
