(1 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Being a military family, I find that this school was not very welcoming and considerate of children having to transition to this school. Over the past two years of experiencing this school, I find that the administration and staff to be rude and unprofessional. On the phone and in person, you walk into the office and they do not verbally greet you or will make you feel you are a bother. The principal of 09/10 year greeted my child with nothing but a aggressive remark and direction, NO "welcome and how was your summer?", just the continually rudeness. I have found the teachers to be good at instruction, but lack empathy. I can only guess that they may be burned out or lack support. Overall, I feel the principal lacks the leadership and care to get to know children and families within the community. I believe that if you build relationships with the community of families that attend your school, this only benefits a principal to become a better leader.
