  • I don't believe that the students are getting an outstanding amount of education the Stuart Elementary. I have two sons who attend this school. I do feel that the teachers
may sometimes judge the students based on where they live and their complexion. This is still very much a problem everywhere you go, but especially at school. I am aware that computers are very essential to learning, but I also strongly believe that teachers should go back to the chalkboards and actually write
examples and notes on the board. That is how I learned. We live in a "click and go" world and if you click too fast you may miss something.I think the students are clicking too fast. They are not up to par on academics. There are a lot of parents who assist there children at home. I am one of them. i have a dry erase board so that i can teach my children manually at home.

  • My son has been going to JEB Stuart since he has been of school age. He is currently in the fifth grade. I am so very unhappy with this school. Their are constant fights and interuptions daily. My son has been attacked twice since school started in September! I have had no support from the principal or the staff. Each time my son was attacked, the teacher left the children unsupervised. The principal told me this was normal and teachers are called out of class and the children are left alone. The principal even said to me she often the calls the teachers out of the class herself. I could not beleive what I was hearing!!! One teacher on the fifth grade hall has no control at all of her class. I told the principal that I want my son taken out of her class but the principal told me no that won't happen!!!My son was out of school for one week because he was in the hospital the middle part of September. Til this day most of teachers have not given me his make up work after I have begged and pleaded. The principal said this was normal as well. This will be my sons last year at JEB Stuart and I thank God!!! It has been Hell. The teaching is terrible and the attitudes are the worst. I am still waiting on a response from the School Board. If your child or children goes to JEB Stuart please be pro active in their education. It is so hard to work and have my son go to this school. I have to pray that he will come home safe. I already know he won't learn much. My son has Cerebral Pasley and if he is injured in that school, I am holding the School Board, the Principal and anyone else responsible reliable!!! I had to select a whole apple to type this for the ranking of JEB Stuart but I wouldn't even select the stem of the apple!!!!!
