  • As a person familiar with GH Reid, I feel the need to explain the issues obseved on this website. The principal is a moron who does not care about his staff or parents or students. The Assistant Principals do the best they can in a horrible situation. The vast majority of teachers are phenominal people who live for the babies who attend. The vast majority of parents are either unable to be be good parents (uneducated, dependent on federal monies, and extremely young) or don't want to be parents. There are a few horrendous teachers and a few excellent parents but these are rare to say the least. All I ask is if you choose to make a review, use grammar and spell check so you don't thoroughly make my point in the first place.

  • This School is one of the worst school I have ever seen. I have a child at this school just becaues I cannt move now I dont take her out. But as soon as I do Im takeing her out of that school the teachers are really bad. They dont help when you have a question about your child. And after school transporting is really bad. Dont every put your child after school at G.H Reid. I konw the person who opened the school never wanted this school to have bad staff.

  • Because of this school, my son in kindergarten does not want to go to school anymore. We just moved here from out of state and he has only been there 1 month and he already has started saying how much he hates school. I guarantee you it was not like that when he was in Pre-K. Last year he even asked me if he could spend the night at the school. I FIRMLY BELIEVE G.H. RIED ELEMENTARY TURNED MY SON AGAINST SCHOOL . hE WAS EVEN BULLIED AT THE SCHOOL AND ALL THEY DID WAS TURN THE OTHER CHEEK.

  • I am a very unpleased Parent with Reid Elementary. I have had 2 incidents since Sept. with the staff unable to supervise my child. I have no faith in Richmond City schools transportation! My son has been put on the wrong bus, and sent to another school for an after school program without my written permission. This to me is unexceptable. All they have to say is that my child should have known where he was suppose to go. Well i feel that it is the school staff job to ensure he gets to and from school safely. That he is only to travel with my written permission. I hope from this that the staff become more organized with transporting chikdren!
