  • this school is the worst they do not take the time to work with the children, my daughter is behind in reading and in the second grade. i teach her at home and they tell her at school she is doing it wrong. they make learning very hard to understand and have very little patience with the students.

  • I was a student a J.L. Francis and I accomplished alot from the teaching staff and administration, and now I'm an active parent at this school and my son was able to endure all needed academics and more I can't speak for each individual teacher but my childs teacher Mrs. Gilbert-Greene and Mrs. Brown did an exceptional job with my second grader.

  • This school is terrible, The principle does not give messages to the teachers from the parents, they dont care about those children, I saw one teacher putting her dirty hands on a student to cover his mouth, that is very unsanitary. Ms. Light foot is a nice person, she really shows parents respect, she helps them, this review doesn't reflect her. I want to support my child academically I am an active parent at J.L. Francis.

  • I would have to say that the first comment had to be posted by someone who works there.
The School should be closed. Period.
Mislabeling Children on I.E.P.'s having to go through so much trouble to have your child RE-EVALUATED by people who actually care and get it all changed, well needless to say, JL FRANCIS needs to be closed.
They dont care about the kids, atleast the admin doesnt, poor teachers are treated like crap...
