  • I graduated in 1970, so I don't know anything about the current administration. But when I went there, they had a very good administration and the teachers were great. All my memories of the school are great. I rate it a 5. When I graduated I had all the credits I needed for college.

  • I love my school. It may not be the best but its home. The students are great. The planning for lunch is a great one. There is alot of spirit and and pride for that school. And im proud to be a Husky.

  • I'm sorry but what I've seen of the administrative staff of this school leaves much to be desired. They are non responsive to questions from the parents. Any suggestions or concerns are met with a "You're just a parent and we know what's best" attitude. I don't expect to know better but I do expect to be respected and if I call with concerns that they be treated with respect. This school has 1 lunch period for the ENTIRE student body. They have an enrollment of almost 800 students and only cook for 450 because a large majority of the students don't have time to get and eat their lunches in the time allotted. I have a family member who is a cook in the county so I know this information is true. Not just going off what the students have said. If I were you and had other options for your child's high school I would seriously consider them. I'm sorry to say that because I am an alumni of Hoover and it was a wonderful school when I attended.
